This project, spearheaded by Techno Valley, aims to empower children in Chin State with essential digital literacy skills, bridging the digital divide and preparing them for success in a technology-driven world. Recognizing the growing importance of technology in education, work, and daily life, the program equips children with the knowledge and confidence to navigate digital tools safely and effectively.

Key Activities:

1. Basic Digital Skills Training:

  • Introducing children to essential computer operations, such as using a keyboard, mouse, and navigating basic software.

  • Familiarizing students with commonly used applications for learning and productivity, including word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets.

2. Internet Literacy:

  • Teaching children how to safely browse the internet, evaluate online information, and recognize credible sources.

  • Promoting awareness of digital safety, including recognizing scams, avoiding cyberbullying, and understanding online privacy.

3. Coding and Creativity:

  • Offering beginner coding workshops using child-friendly programming languages and platforms such as Scratch.

  • Encouraging creativity through digital storytelling, design, and multimedia projects.

4. Digital Tools for Learning:

  • Providing access to e-learning platforms and digital resources to enhance their academic performance.

  • Training children on how to use educational apps and online collaboration tools effectively.

5. Community Outreach:

  • Engaging parents and local leaders to understand the importance of digital literacy and ensure support for children’s continued learning.

  • Partnering with schools and community centers to expand the program’s reach.
